My Story
Jatin pursued his legal education abroad in Australia at Bond University in 2020. He graduated from Bond University in 2022 and subsequently obtained his National Committee on Accreditation certificate in 2023. During his time in Law School, Jatin participated in the prestigious David Strangio Moot in his first semester of law school, finishing as a semi-finalist in his first moot competition. Jatin also participated in the CLSA's NHL Arbitration competition, where he finished as a finalist.
Jatin is currently a Student-At-Law here at UrbanLawyers, articling under his principal, Rohit Kanwar. Jatin's goal is to focus on Civil Litigation, Criminal Defence, and Family matters. Jatin has appeared before the Alberta Court of Justice and the Alberta Court of Kings Bench on various family, criminal, civil, and traffic matters. Jatin has also appeared before the SafeRoads Alberta Tribunal, challenging penalties under Alberta's new DUI (IRS Sanction) regime.
Outside the office, Jatin enjoys playing ice and ball hockey, golfing, and travelling.
